Guess what book won a 5-star badge this week?

I’m so blessed and humbled to receive stellar ratings in all aspects of this review. They graded my book on appearance (cover and chapter headings), plot (story), development (how well story was told), formatting (descriptions/grammar), marketability (if the story met audience expectations of genre: ie: thriller), overall opinion of reviewer/reader – and I got five stars in each category!

Not only is this above and beyond my expectations, but I also learned that 5-star winners are widely promoted through their site and social media pages! This means that even more readers will hear about my book. I’m so excited!

Maj’s Blog is now live for Superfan members!

Keep up with the Exodus Team between books:

Maj’s habit of journaling is spilling over into a new blog! Entries will be written from the point of view of the Exodus Team characters and will center around their walk with God. It’s a fun (and encouraging) way to keep up with the team!

This new blog joins other reader resources like a book discussion outline, a short Exodus Team: New Roads study guide, and more—which are all available to “Superfan” members!

Editorial Reviews are coming in!

I’m so excited to share these reviews!

This one just arrived from Christian Book Finds, and it left me so humbled.
I’m in awe that, as a first time writer, I was able to communicate my characters and message in the way that I envision them myself; it’s truly miraculous, and I give all glory to God!

And I’ve already shared on my Facebook page the glowing review I received from Midwest Book Review Mystery/Suspense shelf!

If you have read my book, I’d love a review from you too! Something as simple as a star rating, or even a line or two about the book is greatly appreciated! You can leave reviews on Amazon, Goodreads, and similar book review sites!

(Not sure how/what to post in an online review, click here for simple instructions.)

Retro Reblog is returning!

What is Retro Reblog?

This is a fun event I host on my Facebook page: www.facebook.com/BEBogdon

Basically, I post quotes from classic literature and talk about the book I’m reading/listening to at the moment. I typically pick stories that I haven’t read before, so it takes some time to find a good one! And I found a great one for September/October!

I choose books that are in the public domain and provide links to both the audiobook and the actual book via Gutenberg.org, so you can join me in my reading adventures!

Think of it as a book club that doesn’t require you to show up in person…or share your snacks.

So, stop by my Facebook page and join me!

A few of the past books I covered are:
September 2019: The House of a Thousand Candles by Meridith Nicholson
November 2019: The Oregon Trail by Francis Parkman, Jr.
February 2020: Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand
August 2020: The Lost World by Sir Arthur Conan Doyl

You can still find these former ‘Retro Reblogs’ on my page (if you have the patience to scroll).
